Drawing on the iconic location of the restaurant and its spectacular view on the Nile front, the name is derived from the colour spectrum created when the sun disappears in the horizon.

Throughout the final moments of the sun setting, we witness the formation of different shades of red that end up with the perfect colour; crimson.
